Welcome to The Henry Prince First School and Nursery. Established over 150 years ago, we are located in the lovely village of Mayfield. We offer our children a rich, broad and balanced programme of studies that include all the requirements of the National Curriculum.

We are a small, rural, Church of England School for children aged between 3 and 9 years old. Our 3 year olds join us every afternoon and we have limited places still available, please contact the school for further information and details of when your child can start.

We have strong links with St John the Baptist Church with Rev Brian Leathers visiting us to take worship. Also we attend Church for various celebrations throughout the year.

We warmly extend the invitation to anyone who would like to visit. Please contact the school office to arrange a convenient time to come and see what The Henry Prince First School can offer and an invitation to lunch is extended to our parents, grandparents and the local senior citizens.
